Deliciously Healthy Avocado Desserts!
If you love the taste, deliciousness, and
benefits of avocados, but you’re not a fan of their high-fat content that is
typically found in avocado-based recipes, then this article is for you. I list
six delicious avocado desserts that are healthy despite the higher fat
content—most still maintain a low-calorie count!
You don’t have to bake the crust or even
cook the cream cheese in this dessert. All that’s required is mixing a few
simple ingredients and then letting it all chill in the fridge for a few hours.
As this rich and creamy cheesecake lacks an oven, there is no need to worry
about over-baking while waiting on your guests to arrive!

Due to the popularity of avocado recipes, I
wanted to provide others with an easy recipe that they can enjoy without any
baking or cooking skills. This is my favorite recipe for all the healthy
avocado desserts in this article because it’s so simple and delicious!
Makes: 4 Servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
Two ripe avocados (pitted, peeled, and
mashed) 1/4 cup honey or agave
nectar (to taste) ½ tsp vanilla extract two tablespoons milk 1 cup heavy cream six
tablespoons pistachios chopped
This
avocado dessert takes just five minutes to make and is a decadent and
healthy treat that everyone will love. The avocado truffles are made by
combining the ingredients in a food processor to make the dough, chilling it in
the fridge, then rolling it out into thin sheets. When they are rolled into
thin ribbons, they are then put on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet,
pressed flat with a spoon or your fingers, covered with chocolate ganache and
sprinkled with pistachios. They take four hours to set, so you must let them
chill in the fridge before serving!
Avocado is a fruit that is an excellent
source of fiber and potassium, and it’s also high in vitamin E. It’s no secret
that the avocado is delicious when eaten with cream cheese on toast; however,
this recipe takes avocado desserts to a whole new level.

and mashed) ½ cup honey or agave nectar (to taste) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ¼
